Following are some pictures of a recent job. The customer was not happy with his current deck and wanted something different and unusual. Mike went in and rebuilt the deck. The customer did not like the lattice that covered the bottom of his previous deck, so Mike built a stone facade, including a stone door so there could be easy access to under the deck.

You can see Mike covered the columns with a gray stacked cut flagstone, then he veneered in between the columns with a contrasting brown flagstone.

Here is a closer view of the veneered stone and the columns.

The customer used a tinted sealant on the decking which brought out the beautiful grain of the wood.

The stone veneered door blends in with the side of the stone veneered wall, while giving him access to underneath for storage.

The door opens easily to allow the customer access to the area underneath his deck.

Another view of the door.

The stone veneer was applied on either side of the steps, and even on the area going down the steps.
